Again this year, many farmers have delivered rapeseed directly from the field to Emmelev A/S
After busy weeks, the rapeseed weigh-in on the weighbridge at Emmelev A/S is now ringing. Many farmers from all over North Funen deliver rapeseed directly from the field to Emmelev A/S, and thus there is not only a rush in the fields, but also in the areas of the company where the rapeseed is unloaded.
Co-owner Morten Simonsen reports an overall good harvest with medium yields and a good quality of the weighed rapeseed.
True totradition, the harvest time is marked at Emmelev A/S, where grilled sausages and a water are served to the harvesters who deliver over the weighbridge. This means that there will be time for a break and a chat before work calls again.
It is estimated by plant breeding advisors that more rapeseed is grown on Nordfyn than in other areas because the plant growers have the opportunity to be able to deliver directly to Emmelev A/S.
